The Chinese Weeping Willow we use originates from suppliers who grow it locally to the factory. It is a fast-growing, eco-friendly and sustainable material, which benefits from regular cropping and is also effective at absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Willow is resistant to drought which if planted near areas of standing water can actually cleanse and keep that water clean. Appropriately in some countries the willow is planted in cemeteries by friends and family members to show their feelings of loss to people who have died. The weeping appearance of the tree is thought to be closely related to grief.
